Filipino Foods: I smell something yummy!
Okay, on to my most favorite topic - FOOD! Filipino foods reflect the history of our country. Nowadays, there's a variety of cuisine fusions - foreign dishes altered to satisfy Pinoys' taste buds. Here are some of my favorites:
Jollibee
Philippines' No. 1 Fast Food Chain ; McDo's counterpart
Love their regular yum (because of their tasty patty), burger steak and mango caramel sundae
SEx
Sinangag (Fried Rice) Express
Specialty: Tapsilog (Marinated Beef, Fried Rice, Sunny Side Up)
Tosilog (Tocino/Cured Pork, Fried Rice, Sunny Side Up)
Dampa
Wet market where you can buy fresh seafoods and have them cooked right on the spot
Grilled Squid
Buttered Crab
Shrimp Tempura
Baked Mussel
The GoodEarth
Lily on the Pond - their bestseller and my favorite on the appetizer menu.
Pizza Hut
Meat Lovers Sausage Stuffed Pan Pizza
Fettucine Alfredo
Mango Panacotta
Max Brenner
Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries
Crunchy Chocolate Cheesecake
Cosmopolitan
Krocodile Grill
Sizzling Pork Sisig - foreigners love this!
Hot Flaming Chicken with Gravy
Kare-Kare (Pinoy dish: Oxtails with tripe cooked with peanut butter)
Deviled Crispy Pata (Deep-fried Pork Leg)
Gonuts Donuts
Krispy Kreme counterpart

Hi there,
I am writing a blog about Filipino foods and I wanted to know if I could use your photo of the pork sisig with your permission. Your photo will be credited. Please let me know if that's okay with you. My email is deegah@yahoo.com. I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Marichris
